Program Rules
- To obtain a rebate voucher number, complete the online wood smoke rebate form. If unable to access the form online please call (415) 749-4900. A voucher number will reserve your $600.00 rebate, so long as you comply with the program requirements below.
- Voucher Applicant must live in the Bay Area Air Quality Management District boundaries.
- Vouchers are given on a first come, first served basis.
- One Voucher per Household.
- Funds are available for gas stoves and gas inserts only.
Required Documentation
After you have received a voucher number you will be required to turn in the following information to the Bay Area Air Quality Management District to obtain the $600.00 Wood Smoke Rebate. All information will be due by July 6, 2008 (post marked).
- Supply a utility bill establishing your residency in the District.
- Supply a bill of sale or invoice indicating the device purchased was a gas stove or gas inert.
- Supply an invoice showing proof of installation.
- If replacing a non-certified wood stove or insert, supply a scrappage receipt confirming the device was taken to a recycling center for disposal.
- Provide a signed and completed rebate certificate agreeing to the terms and conditions of the rebate program.
